Who we are
We look at IT security a little bit differently. We believe your employees are your biggest asset, especially when the majority of IT-breaches can be linked to human error.
With our cloud-based training platform, we are making complex concepts easier to understand and security training interesting and engaging. Our goal is to foster good behaviors, one person at the time.
Our story
Nimblr was founded in the south of Sweden in 2019. Andreas, Rikard, and Karl, three IT-security solution experts, teamed up with two specialists in digital communications and E-learning: Martin and Aron.
Together, they set about creating a holistic Security Awareness Platform that would increase security awareness and actually change people’s behaviors.
Just a few years later, more than 4,500 IT decision-makers in Europe and beyond have chosen Nimblr for their security awareness needs, thanks to our holistic learning model, frequently updated courses and behavioral-changing program.
For those of you who haven't been to the south of Sweden, our name might sound peculiar. Nimblr comes from the Scanian word "nimt," which means agile, easy, and practical.
Just like the word, our solution is easy to set up, simple for both users and administrators, and precise in its delivery.

2025
Opening offices in Finland and Norway. To further develop our solution, we became a part of Scandinavian Software Park.
2024
With support from Monterro, we prepared to scale up. Our workforce grew with 35%, on all levels; from management to sales-representatives. By the end of the year, we had 100 retail partners in Sweden alone.
2023
We had become a household name for IT security experts in Sweden and had our first customers in Norway, Denmark, and Finland. Monterro, a private equity company based in Stockholm, acquired a major stake in Nimblr in order to continue to drive growth and expansion.
2022
Business was booming! It was time to expand internationally by opening offices in Denmark and Portugal.
2021
Our first sales representative was hired. In November, we got our first customer, GB Glace!
2020
They teamed up with Martin and Aron, two specialists in digital communications and E-learning. Together, they started to build Nimblr Security Awareness.

Rikard, Andreas, and Karl created technical security solutions for companies. Business was great, but something was bothering them. It didn't matter how advanced the solutions they created were, their customers’employees were clicking on malicious links, putting their organizations at risk. That's where the idea was born: Security Awareness Training that creates actual behavioral change.
