Scandinavian service provider, Iver, delivers mission-critical cloud, IT, and cybersecurity services to a range of industries. They have chosen Nimblr to deliver continuous security awareness training and realistic simulations to their customers across the Nordics.
The platform helps complete their service offering with security awareness training which proved to be a great fit for their customers, easy to set up and demonstrated quick results.
Completing service offering to keep customers secure.
When it comes to human risk management, Iver's customers fall into three categories.
- Compliance-driven: they need a tool to prove compliance with frameworks like ISO 27001 during audits. They need tangible evidence showing what measures they take and how they execute them.
- Awareness and incident-driven: they have either experienced a cybersecurity incident or have existing awareness and want to ensure their organization stays protected and alert.
- Uninformed: they do not have previous experience with security awareness training. They don’t know why it is necessary, which then leads to a direct sales pitch explaining the value proposition and threat landscape.
Jesper Sjögren, Team Manager at Iver, explains: "The most common scenario is a client who understands that security awareness is necessary in today's market. They are usually familiar with Nimblr and one or two competitors, but they lack technical clarity on how the solution works or why one platform is preferable over another."
It was clear for Iver that they needed an awareness solution that was both easy to manage for their consultants working with customers across all three categories and at the same time had a true impact on behavior. The partner of choice was Nimblr and it’s micro-learning, real threat simulations and instant learning features.
For many of Iver's customers, IT resources are finite, and management is relying on Iver to know how to take care of their IT environment, protect their data, and turn their employees into a real line of defense.
“Nimblr is a great complement to Iver's cybersecurity offering," says Emil Rafstedt, Team Manager at Iver. “We’re working very hard with cyber security, but we didn’t have the awareness training that Nimblr can provide, so it really completes the full circle within our service offerings.”
The Iver team found Nimblr easy to set up and easy to manage for their many customers. They appreciated that every time a new colleague starts at one of their customers, they are automatically added to Nimblr and the training starts a few days after they start working. Iver additionally leverages Nimblr’s branding option to deliver a coherent experience to their customers.
"When it comes to the design, the product and the people, it feels like Nimblr has a soul. Everyone I've met at Nimblr really loves the product, and I can feel that."

Trust creates the strongest partnership
"When it comes to the design, the product and the people, it feels like Nimblr has a soul," says Emil. "Everyone I've met at Nimblr really loves the product, and I can feel that. I never want to talk about a company or some software that I don’t believe in. When I feel the trust, it's easier to reach out and get support and that’s a big value for me."
They are pleased with the addition of role-based learning, which was added to the product earlier this year. Mikael Gustafsson, IT Technician at Iver, explains: "It's good to have a baseline training for all employees, but role-based learning is important since you’ll have people in finance that are being asked to approve payments which doesn't apply to all employees." Even in smaller organizations where a single individual can have multiple responsibilities, it is critical to be able to target different roles within the company, as Iver notes the potential within verticals such as finance, healthcare or public sector.
Having Nimblr in their portfolio also enables Iver to open new doors to potential customers. With directives such as NIS2, the need for a human risk management strategy grows, and an awareness solution becomes increasingly top of mind for prospects.
“This is a perfect opportunity for us to open the gate with new potential customers” Emil states, “We can do a lot in the background, but we can't change behaviors. However, with Nimblr, we can actually change the behaviors”.
The future is bright for Nimblr & Iver
Partnering with Nimblr allows Iver to deliver a complete cybersecurity offering. Whether it's using Nimblr's security awareness training to open the door to new customers, or including Nimblr into Iver's cyber security offering, partnering with Nimblr has proven to be a good piece of business. And they are keen to deepen the partnership further. As Emil explains: “We want to keep developing together. We need to help even more customers create strong security cultures over time - not just once a year, but long-term.”
